We bought a piece of ground atop a hill and put a double wide trailer on it. The private road up to property is sad. The road bed is clay & sandstone. I'd like to apply crushed stone, but I'm not sure what grade, or how deep to spread the stone. Can anyone help or suggest a book?

Thanks for the link. I've looked at the info and believe it is useful as general guidence.
But it uses all metric and UK resources.

I'm located in the North Eastern USA
Crushed Stone sizes common in our area are usually called e.g. 2B, 3B, etc. and fees are by the ton...metric conversions...yikes....that throughs me through a loop.

I would suggest the 2b size, or the 3b size, which begs the question 2b or not 2b

I couldnt find a conversion table with gravel sizes, but 10mm is 0.3937 of an inch so you could use that for a guide
