baxi 80 eco cutting out

Hi Guys,

Got a problem with the above boiler, got hot water ok but the boiler keeps firing up and then cutting out when the central heating is on. It heats radiators ok then when they are hot starts up then cuts out every 10 - 15 seconds. Also when central heating is on, hot water is doing
the same and only luke warm. Had new part fitted last year by british gas which sat behind the air pressure switch, this part had a long pin which goes in and out this seems ok when up and running.

It sounds to me as if the gas valve may need adjustment by a CORGi.

But its difficult to guess without being there and doing some tests on it.

I cannot guess what they fitted!

Be careful about the charges with BG !

As the boiler is mostly working its not anything major !

If they are going to charge you another £200 they you will be better of with a competent independent !
