thermostat problem

my combi boiler kicks in and out about once every 45 seconds when heating is on. I live in a flat. (when taps are on boiler runs continuously.) I'm concerned that this will cause damage before too long. Any ideas?

It would help if you gave some details about the make & model of the boiler, but from your symptoms I would check the CH flow temp sensor and the pump first. If you're really unlucky you could have a duff PCB then get ready for a £££££££££'s bill.
