i'm quite novice on circuits and units, but do some basic wiring in general, and very willing to learn.
before i start with this project i would like some expert advise:

I need to get electricity to the garage (18m from the house) for a socket + light, and doing so i would like to fit 3 external lights along the garden(same path as the cable going to the garage).

1. do i need to run a new cable from the CU or can i use a socket wiring from the kitchen + new unit in the garage?

2. what cable should i be using for the lights (not low voltage) and for the power circuit?
3. if i need another unit in hte garage, any suggestions?
4. any extra comments/advise is very welcome
thank you for the moment

its nice that you ask first, but may i suggest you search the forums, this subject has been asked so many times before.

try searching for:

power to shed

power to garage

power to outbuilding

garage supply

outside supply
