FLAVEL GAS COOKER HOBS - NO GAS

Hi, we seem to have a problem with the gas supply to our gas cooker hobs. The ignition works fine but after a turning on the gas, no gas comes through but it flows fine for the grill and oven.

Please could anyone advise to fix the problem and what the problem is?

I`m going to assume this has a fold down lid.If so there is a safety device which cuts off the gas when the lid is closed.It sounds as if it is stuck in the off position.
You may need to get a GSR out to free it and check it isn`t faulty.

Your right it does have fold down lid.

Sorry to ask a silly questions but what is a GSR?

A member of the Gas Safe Register. GSR recently took over from Corgi. Only their members are allowed to work on gas appliances. Not a DIY job unfortunately. You can search for an engineer here:
