i have never removed these before but i am having a new toilet and basin, and didnt want to change the bath as there is nothing wrong with it, except 2 horrible hand grips, if i remove these will there be a hols left??? if so ia there anything i can buy to cover these up??? any suggestions welcome, i would just buy a new bath but cannot afford that aswell as the rest of it,

You can pick up a bath for £75 (£30 on fleabay) and you're going to have to un-plumb and re-plumb the existing one anyway to get the wall side grip off.
Wait until you can afford all the necessary items to do a job properly instead of half arsing it and later wishing you hadn't.

Yes there will be holes and usually indents where they sit,might look a bit odd
