Ideal Classic LXF 230 boiler

I had the above boiler recently serviced and the engineer said I need to get a cage for the flue and an aluminium heat shield above the flue.

Do they need to be of a specific size or specification? Whats a good outlet to try for these kind of things. Thanks

you can make the heat shield out of a closure plate

The heat shield must have a minimum of a 5 mm gap between it and what it is protecting. I think also it must be a minimum of 1 metre long and fitted centrally.
