New bath fitted in my bathroom this afternoon, steel bath (white). Brackets screwed to wall (length side only as front and back ends are to wall/wooden cupbaord as before) and bath secure, bath legs (no middleleg with this bath) fitted OK and 2 planks of wood also used to spread the weight as well (1 unde rback legs and other under front 2)

My query is: the front lip of the bath in the tap corner (side away from wall) has a tiny bit of give in it when you move it up and down, only very slight to the eye.

Is this normal or is there anything I can do to make it better ? Should the feet be screwed to the planks/floor??

Also, will the tiling and bath panel when on stop this slight give??

will this secure the bath more then and stop the little bit of give it has in the corner edge by the tap end?? other end is fine though.

the original bath had no battens but the feet were not screwed to the flloe at all, and no wall brackets were used, bath before was same as this, steel.

pipes go under this floor so don't want to go through floor !

maybe a design fault of bath ..... it's only a tiny movement really
