2 way dimmer switch

I have just wired up a 2way dimmer switch and it does not work. I have wired the red wire to the wavy line terminal and the black wire to L1 terminal. I have done this on both sides. Is this right- any thoughts

What do you mean by "I have done this on both sides"? Are you trying to wire up two way switching with a dimmer at one end? Give us a bit more information and somebody might be able to help.

No I have wired up both the dimmers but it does not want to work

Have you wired two dimmers in parallel or two dimmers in series? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick completely and by "two way" you mean a double dimmer serving two separate lights? Actually, that last one ought to work.
