I've fitted celotex between roof rafters, foam filled slight gaps then aluminium foil taped all edges and over rafters. Do i still need to buy the foil backed plasterboard for the ceiling (to act as the vapour barrier) or surely i've done enough and can now use ordinary plasterboard? Its in a kitchen area and i'm trying to prevent condensation problems on underside of boarded roof-air gap is present.

Why take any risk for an extra few quid?
Belt & braces approach says fix both and most architects would advise or insist as would b.c.
As the location is a kitchen then there is no question in my mind.
