two way switch

Hi, this may have been covered in a previous thread, but i cant find it exactly. I have the usual layout of a double switch each end of the stairs for both the upstairs and downstairs lights.
I have bot a new \\\"2-way\\\" switch and each \\\"rocker\\\" has its own little box of tricks on the back with \\\"1(1way), 2, SP and COM\\\" terminals. The old double light switch has 3 terminals on the top, with a red, yellow and a blue wire going in, and three terminals the same on the bottom.
How do I connect the new switch?
Your answer will help illuminate a now very dark hallway! Thanks

The old switch will have C, L1, L2 markings aswell.
