Bosch refrigerator - warm freezer problem

Our Bosch KSU40 fridge has a fast freeze compartment in the freezer box.
In the last week or so items in this compartment have been thawed out while the rest of the freezer is working fine.
The "fast freeze" button doesn't change the situation.
Any thoughts?
Is there a separate thermostat for this compartment? or a separate fan?
Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the fridge?

When ever I see problems with a freezer my first thought is have you done a complete defrost.

Good point! We have had the blocked drain/iced-up element problem in the past, but the freezer itself was warm when that happened, so I assumed (always a mistake) that the problem would be something else.
I'll do a switch-off for a couple of days and see. Thanks for the nudge.

Not always, it depends on where the elements are & how iced up they are. My mother had an electra that was still not completely defrosted after a week.
