AL08 shows up before wash ends. Rocks1 on this Forum lists alarms and indicates AL08 shows it to be "Time Out - Heat". Removed heater and measured 25 ohms on AVO. Correct Resistance for 2030W at 230V, as specified on heater body. So, heater looks OK. What else can give AL08 alarm code if heater is OK? Thanks. Redser

Hopefully its just the NTC that came loose, it slots into a clip on the inner door (they have a bad tendency to do that kind of thing). Take the door fascia off & have a peek. Failing that the pcb is history. Merloni electronics are unreliable (at best).
