Hi,
I'm having a problem with my central heating. The radiators are getting very hot and do not appear to be being regulated by the room thermostat. It also appears that the radiators are getting hot when only the hot water is on (e.g. the central heating on the timer control unit is off). It is a fully pumped system with a Honeywell 4073 3 way valve.

Am I correct in my assumption that these problems are caused by a faulty 3 way valve?

Thanks for your help
Paul

If you are talking about the slide cover so as I can see the motor etc. then yes. But I don't really know what to expect so don't know whether it is working properley or not

is there a number or make on the valve :?:

if you select water on it's own does the motor work :?:

if you select heating on it's own does the motor work :?:
