ariston flush mountable electric ventilated oven fv 271/fv242 G ***help**?

no heat from oven,checked element.was faulty replaced new part, now oven wont work.the light wont come on and the fan wont rotate but the digital clock is on. also checked the fuse had not tripped at the fuse box.p.s the grill,light,and fan was working prior to attempted fix.thanx.....

is it in auto or manual mode? they often go to auto if they are disconnected from the mains

i wont be able to check out the timer until tomorrow,what do i do if it is on automatic.thanks for the reply

You usually have to press 2 timer buttons at once. I usually just try every combination until the oven comes on. I have long thought that it is a stupid way of designing electronics that default to auto when most customers probably don't understand how to set the timer.
