which antifreeze to use?

Hi

I have a Audi A4 06 .2.0litre. diesel .which anti freeze should i use?

Also

I have a VW Transporter 57 reg 1.9 diesel, which anti freeze do i need?

As they are both modern, then there should not be any real issue about what one to use. It's classic cars that have the big issues with modern 'organic additive' anti freeze.

It needs to be G12 spec (pink in colour) GSF spares will have it or halfords

Both need to be VAG spec. It is called G12, G12+ or G12++ all of these can be mixed and all are a pinkish or lilac colour. If your is blue it is G11 and cannot be mixed with the G12 range. If you don't use this stuff your coolant wil turn into a horrible brown sludge .

This stuff from Halfords says it is compatable but I think you would be better getting the genuine stuff. The price wont be much different.
