It has the shower and the basin and the wc and when wc is flushed the waste comes up into the shower and the basin! Could this be a simple blockage? It sometimes makes noises on its own aswell. Thankyou

If it's not even trying to run then probably the float switch is a little sticky. Does it work when you use the shower or basin?

If there isint a pump called a sanipimp then there should be ;)

if you can hear the motor running then you have a blockage, the very best of luck with the job ahead of you, its not for the faint hearted

Yes the shower and basin are fine it just doest flush the crud away it pushes it into the shower and basin....

Well if the pump is running, I would go with the above suggestion of checking the non-return valves aren't stuck open with hair and various other crud. Either that, or you have a blockage in the outlet pipe that isn't allowing the large volume of water from the toilet to pump away quickly enough.

Are the non return vales easy to locate?

yes they are located in the bottom of the unit where basin/shower pipe enter.
they are rubber flaps that should be clean and close fully if they don't the water don't rise enough to activate the flow switch and the water just backfills out the other pipes.

best if you have a wet/dry vac cause the unit will be full of crud.
i useally drain the pan fist then the lid can be removed to drain the unit. ;)

if the unit is running ok on the shower/basin check the outlet side pipework as said.
also check the blades etc.
