Whirlpool dishwasher wont start....

I'm suspecting a fuse problem. Where would I find it? The appliance is 3 years old. I push the start button and nothing happens. I hold the button in for 5 seconds and the red light flashes so I know that there is electicity at the source. I much appreciate all replies.
