t reg corsa 1.0 (needs new exhaust)

Hi i have a t reg corsa 1.0
I have had a split in the exhasut pipe where it just fell apart during the winters
When i sart the car it struglles for a few minutes then cuts off..
The exhaust pipe has a extra piece fitted to it

What can the problem be?
Is it the exhast leaking from the extra bit?

Can some1 help please thank u

Suggest you find a empty builders skip and two long planks, you will need a fair speed, but if you can drive straight, you should solve the problem.

i have managed to fire it up the engine is vibrating vigarously and for the first few mins i have too keep my foot down for it to warm up then when the engine speed goes to idle at 1 it starts juddering and eventually cuts off.

Hi just a quik question the car starts n runs fine when the air mass flow meter is unplugged but when i plug it in the car cuts out straight away.
I have changed the air meter ( have no gurantee the replacement was working found in the garage ) and it still does the same.

looks like you've found the problem mate...air mass meters don't like lying around gathering dirt!

done that has plenty of power but it seems to judder allot at idle.
Also when push the accelarotor and let go the engine speed seems to come down slowly.
