I keep roding my drains in a house converted into four flats. I rod about every 3 mths and fined lots of thick, cream in colour, solid like stuff. It looks like solidified fat.
What do you think it is?

Tipping frying pans and deep fat fryers down the sink. I do tip pans, but add hot water and plenty of hot water. Old fryer oil goes in a pan, wash up frier, new oil in, old oil back in new oil bottle and in general waste.

If you run these flats or not, have a word. Young people don't know how to dispose. Paper and card goes in recycling, thats it.

Print a leaflet, or even a copy of this post when everyone else has commented.

Good luck anyway.

Dan.

Definitely fat mate.
Might be a good idea to give the drains a jet through then divide the bill amongst the tenants ;)
