it says what it is stainless steel, so its strong and doesnt stain its other advantage and main advantage is it doesnt shrink or expand like wood (cracks). theres nothing wrong with wood and on most listed buildings you would use wood, only to keep in with the caricter of the building. But in this day and age theres more materials available that do the same job and are quicker and cheaper.
probably only difference is beads make job quicker.
