T/BENDIX 1000 WATER CAPACITY PER WASH

MY DRAIN WATER EXITS INTO A SEPTIC TANK WHICH NO LONGER SEEPS AWAY CORRECTLY.
MY NEIGHBOUR WHO SHARES THE COST TO EMPTY THE TANK COMPLAINS THAT MY TRICITY/ BENDIX 1000 AW1053W W/MACHINE USES 70 GALLONS OF WATER PER AVERAGE WASH.
ANYBODY OUT THERE WITH ANY GEN ON THIS SUBJECT,PLEASE COULD YOU LET ME KNOW SO I CAN ARGUE MY POINT. THANKS BB
