Hi,

I have a Worcester 28CDi combi boiler. The hot water is working fine but I can't get the central heating to work. There is pressure in closed water loop (1.5 bar).

Has anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,
Richard

Is the room thermostat working firstly?. Does it make any attempt and have you tried holding in the reset for few seconds?
Had to repressurize the expansion vessel on one of these today.....2 hours!, who designed this model, he needs shooting.Sorry.

How did you get rid of that post kev...you know we've already spotted it

What was the problem that took you 2 hours offski? Was it the location of the Schrader valve? Changing the ex vessel in a 24/28 CDI is one of the most hated jobs for a Worcester engineer.
arty, as ollski says check the tstat. Has it got an external time clock or one on the boiler fascia? If it's a mechanical one on the fascia they are prone to failing.

Regards James
