Electric Oven and Hob

I am in the process of installing the above.

At present i have a cable which is either 6mm or 8mm coming directly from a 32 amp MCB. (i say striaght - it is jointed by a junction box in attic)

Can i connect both Oven and Hob with the same cable?

you need to tell use more. like the power rating of the new stuff, cable length, wether the cable goes thru insulation or clipped or in free air

not too sure on power rating as yet! will have to open box tonight to check!

cable length is about 15 to 20 metres! the junction box is on a joist in attic and cable runs over insulation. and has also been sunk into a wall.

There's no such thing as 8mm² - how are you measuring/estimating the size?

Well if it is not 8mm it must be 6mm!! i knew it was one or the other!!

Can anybody give any sensible advice to my query please?
