Hoover washing machine

Please help
I have a hoover washing machine model SE16OE
the problem is that it will do a wash but it dont spin.I have checked the belt and all is ok,please could somebody tell me the answer to my promblem and also where i could get a manual for the machine.

using size 18 and bold does not get you a faster answer, so i have removed it

Have you tried spin cycle when empty?
Mine had the same problem and it was the carbon brushes in the motor. It happened when i had had the machine 9 years so not bad going!!!!

Carbon brushes for your motor are relatively cheap part but I had to get a repair man to actually FIT mine. £90 it cost. It was worth it though since the same machine now is over £500!!
