hi,
I've got a small neon light that is meant to fit in the lighter socket in a car (but i want it for my room). It only has two wires neutral and live. Ive taken the lighter socket end off but there is no way of changing the wires, so is there any way that i can add an earth wire to the existing cables.
Thanks |

Wouldn't your car be 12v DC and your house be 230v AC? |

You don't need to earth it !!!!
What you need to do is get a hampster and put a dynamo on it's wheel and connect the 2 wires to the dynamo.
Bit noisey, but will do the job |
