pull cord extractor

the old one packed up it had four conection two live and two neutral + a place to stow the earth. My new replacement has three conections what goes where?

Piccy of back of old fan, new fan and wires poking out of wall, ceiling.

The fan is fine, the pull cord imploded and the springs have gone west.
OLD SWITCH:
red live to coms and further connection next to it
blue nuetral into 2way and 1way connections
NEW SWITCH:
has one connection for com and one 1way and one 2way next to each other

Seeing as your post is entitled "pull cord extractor", I assume you are talking about the connections to the extractor.

Are you actually talking about the connections to the switch?

If so, is this switch remote to the fan or attached to it?

What switch did it have before, and what terminals were the wires connected to on the original switch?

And why have you got a replacement switch different to the original?
