getting rid of thorn bushes

i once was given a water based solution fro my previous neighbour which i pored over and it killed them but i have no idea what it was.

has anyone got any ideas as my other neighbours bush has pierced my fenced and in time will bring it down, so i want to kill it all

if its your neighbours bush, all you can legally do is trim whats overhanging your side. Destroy or kill it and you are commiting criminal damage.

well its rots are now in my garden plus he doesnt mind.

he wants some help in what to use

Why not just dig it out if he isn't too fussed about the bush either.

ah thats ok then! Give it a good dousing with a systemic weedkiller such as round up when its activley growing. It will take it down into the roots and start to kill it off. Then a few weeks later do the hard bit and dig it out.
