Having trouble with the boiler flow water temperature not going any higher than around 30c. When this temp is reached the boiler then modulates on - off around 30c with the temp control set at max. Any ideas please.

If the temperature of the Flow pipe right by the boiler really is 30, probably a failed sensor. Can't remember if this boiler has the NTC type but if so, it means it's gone short circuit (or virtually so). Easy to test with a multimeter. Resistance with sensor cold should be in the 12K to 15Kohm area.

if it is a system boiler and dhw keeps cutting out at 30 try checking the room stat

The CXI range have dip switches on the pcb and one of them is a setting for under floor heating which keeps the temp low.

Thanks to all who responded for your help, especially croydoncorgi. Checked flow sensor as you suggested and it proved to be the culprit. Replaced sensor and boiler now operating normally. Thanks again.
