recently fitted replacement electric shower unit.Both 9.5w. Initially worked, however within two days only cold water coming through! am not a proffesional(as you can probably tell)Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Sevemac, If you do not feel competant about the electric shower installation please get a qualified electrician to check it out before it kills you :!:

A 9.5W shower will not give much output. Have you tried immersing a 100W bulb in the water? It would heat it up 10.5 times faster
