Theres 3 main types...linen, paper and polyester acrylic backed..

With and linen polyester acrylic..you you paste the wall,...paperbacked you paste the wall and wet the back of the paper (I use a roller sleeve and warm water)

Linen or fabric backed can be a pig..make sure you have plenty of sharp stanly blades.

When your measuring/setting out the paper draw a series of vertical lines every 49 inches...now imagine your looking at three of those lines on a wall...hang the first piece to the left hand line the second piece to the furthest right hand line...then you should end up with an overlap of three inches over the centre line

Cut all the lengths first and roll them up, marking the top with a 'T' then take them to the wall and just left them drop like a roller blind...the will virtually plumb themselves

Many Muraspec papers require reverse hanging of evey other length..so if have ten lengths cut and rolled take 5 away and re-roll them back on themsleves

With all papers you need to overlap them at the seams by 3 inches, then you cut through both peces..the front strip normally falls away...theback strip is stuck to the wall..pull this off too and smooth over the joint with a damp sponge or cloth.

NEVER attempt to butt joint..

Smooth out the paper using a plastic 'spactula' as opposed to a papering brush..or if you havnt got one...use a short pile roller sleeve

Check the width of the roll...a lot of them are 48 inches not 52
