GE dishwasher - will not fill or drain

The model number is GSD3130. The dishwasher will not fill with water or drain water. I have hand filled it and all of the wash cyles are working. What would prevent filling and also draining?

Sounds like two different problems. For the no fill, you can check the water valve to make sure you're getting power to it. If you are, and no water, you can check to see if the filter screen in the valve is clogged otherwise, you will need a new water valve. For the no drain, you'll have to check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged. Also GE dishwashers have a drain valve that is noticable when it "cluncks" to drain the water out. If this is not working properly this also will cause a no drain. Good place to start anyway. Good luck!
