Our dishwasher has developed this fault. Checked drain hose and filters appear OK.

When rinse cycle run it fills, rinses and drains.

When a wash cycle is started the initial rinse is completed then the Alarm AL6 comes up and machine stops.

The water seems to pump out of the hose OK.

I have taken left hand side off and there is a plastic panel containing numerous water channels. Botom ones appear brown possibly blocked. Am I looking in the right area for a fault?

Is there a way to clean these?.

there appears to be a small plastic cap on the top which gives access to the channels. Is this for cleaning access?

I am an electrician but never had to look into a Dishwasher before.

please help or it will be on with the marigolds for me !!

thanks

Graham

I take it no one can offer any tips or hints.

It will have to be back to the sink then.

Sorted now.

It was the Waste water side. I stripped the machone down today, flushed through all the hoses and the waste water management panel.

Rebuilt and works like new.... fro now.

If anyone has the same problem it is not that hard to repair.

Remove left hand panel, front panel and then rear small panel where inlet is.

There is a galvanised panel at front of machine, remove this also and this gives access to the hose connections, there are three at the front.

There are another thre at the rear access via inlet hose panel.

The blue side panel is held in place with four screws then remove, flush through in garden with hose and refit. I tried a couple of programms before I rebuilt.

Seems OK for now.
