I am going to be laying down a wood floor directly to screed using special glue for the job. The screed is unsealed at the moment and has a rough slightly gritty feeling to it. What is the best thing to seal it with before applying the adhesive. Any advice welcome. Thanks in advance.

OK then. Firstly, you shouldn't seal it - the roughness will aid the adhesion of the adhesive.

Secondly, read the instructions on the adhesive that you plan to use - if this says that bare screed should be treated, or primed, then treat or prime it with whatever it recommends.
