All my downstairs radiators have the same problem. They are hot on the top and sides but cold in the middle. The upstairs ones are ok. I have de sludged the system chemically. I have converted the system to a sealed system with 1 bar pressure but the issue is still there. Anyone have any ideas

Hi, I've got exactly the same problem. Rads are hot on top and sides, but cold, not just luke warm bottom centre. System is vented and a few years old and just had new boiler fitted. will be changing to sealed system soon as pump is over pumping and letting air into the system. pump speeds have been played with quite a lot over the last 6 months by various plumers. Currently on 2. was on 3 and over pumping much more....
any ideas?

Take radiators off and flush with hosepipe.
