Hi
I have the above shower head which cracked therefore I am having to replace it with a new one.
Having removed the old I thought it would be a simple case of screwing in the new one - however once I have tightened it it's about 30 degrees short of where it needs to be. So the shower head is facing 5 O'clock rather than 6 O'clock. It seems to be pretty stable but water leaks out when I turn the shower on.
Any ideas on why I can't turn the pipe into the right position ? I am guessing silicone round the join will not fix the leaking ?

Sorry for my ignorance plumbing really isn't my bag !

Thanks, Katie

Firstly there should be a rubber washer between the shower hand set and hose.

Secondly, most shower hand set attachment points can be swivelled to get the desired angle.
