Indesit washer problem

My washer keeps tripping the electric whenever switched on. I've looked inside and tried loosening different wires and when i take the one off that leads to the door, the washer stays on, doesn't trip the electric, but wont fill cause not registering the door being locked. Could this mean i need a new door interlock or could it be something else?

Most likely cause is the heater. However, the only safe way to test is to megger the component parts.
