How can i remove bitumen

Please can anyone help i have removed a conopy that was over my patio doors. but whoever done the job did not do it very wll and got bitumen all over the wall which looks horrible and messy. does anybody know how i can remove it. Thankyou.

Try Tar Spot Remover from car accessories shop, Olive Oil (not tried it), kerosene or Parrafin, don't rub it into the brickwork, just try and soak it up with a rag. I don't know if it will discoloured the facing bricks

white spirit works a treat. recommended by a tar monkey too. icon_wink.gif

I know my mum manged to get it up off the floorboards of the house we just moved into with white spirit and some brute force icon_smile.gif
