Tiling round a bath with 305 x 305 tiles. I am less than one tile from the ceiling now and have just noticed that the distance to the ceiling varies between 288 -> 300mm. Only 2mm difference between one end and the other though. We are talking new extension so it isn't "character". Choices are

1. Cut tiles to fit ceiling
2. Cut to fit 288mm, fill the gap above and paint white to match ceiling
3. Don't tile to the ceiling

I am leaning towards option 3. What does the panel think?

Cut tiles to follow the slope of the ceiling although not the easiest thing as you are only taking off a slither. Leave a gap equal to your tile spacing between cut tile and ceiling and fill with grout.

Just a few thoughts fastjedi,

1)You could put a border at the top.
2)This could even sit on top of the last main tile(build it out)
3)You could buy a moulded border to cover up the sins, this could be made of tiles or wood or plaster or plastic

I agree with Jass.. But fastjedi started wrong by not working out the finish.
