Anyone got a Makita 4304T jigsaw....got problems

Hi,
Bought the above off ebay checked the motor when it arrived but not the blade clamping. I can't seem to get the blade to clamp and fully tightened can easily be pulled out. Its the model where the top is unscrewed which releases the blades clamps. Any ideas?
