No Hot water flow coming out of kitchen mixer tap

Hi The hot water coming out of my kitchen mixer tap has stopped flowing and is now just a trickle..

hot water is working fine in the upstairs bathroom.

I don't have any central heating and the hot water comes out of a copper cylinder immersion heater upstairs..

Any ideas on what might be the problem and how to solve it please?

Could be a blockage. Is this a new tap you have just installed or has this just happened to your existing tap?

air lock or scale in your tap..... try this.... hold hand firmly over tap nozzle, open hot tap, then SLOWLY turn on cold water hold on for 10 seconds then turn off cold and let go. if its air that may work

It could be scaled up if you are in a hard water area. If there is an isolation valve on the hot supply pipe, you could try turning it off and undoing the nut on the tap side. Take the pipe out of the isolation valve then turn it on and off quick to see if there is sufficent flow/no blockage. If it flows OK, your tap is probably scaled up.
