radiator valve

I have a crack in my radiator so water is dripping out. I turned off the valve on the right side to stop water going into rad, and I turned the valve off on the other side to try and stop the water again, but theres still water coming out... any thoughts.
I\\\'m a girl and not a plumber at all. Any help greatfully recieved!

the rad will have to drain before it stops dripping
