Removing gloss paint from my sink

Hi, Can anyone help me?

I once foolishly cleaned my paint brushes which were covered in gloss paint in my granite sink. I now have a washed out looking stain which I can not remove!

I have tried paint brush cleaner and turps but they have not helped.

Any ideas?

There is a powder cleaner called "Barkeepers Friend" which you can get at some supermarkets and places that sell domestic cleaning materials.
It also gets tea and coffee stains off.

It does not feel as if it is abrasive though I suppose it might be. It has not marked or deglazed my sink.
