Getting plaster off Windows

Hi...we've had our bathroom replastered and now there's a fair amount of stray plaster over the PVC window frames. Can anyone suggest a way of removing this. I've tried a mechanical approach (ie trying to scrape it off) but it won't budge.

Is there something that will somehow break it down ?

get it thoroughly wet and it will soften in time. Use a plastic scraper not a metal one.
