W/mac waste pipe
Reply with quote Thanks

Hi
I am moving into a block of purpose built flats. Can I T into a hand sink 32 mm pipe that joins a 150mm vertical waste pipe 450 mm away? Or does it have to be a 40 mm pipe?
Regards
Max

If you Tee into your soil stack(150 mm pipe) then you will get all the nasty smells backing up from the sewers, I am not sure if it is allowed under building regs. anyway, but if it is you will need some form of trap.
