In my bathroom there is a ceramic tile border of one tile width around the entire perimeter of the room. Some of the tiles are badly broken, and since the house is about 30 years old, these tiles cannot be replaced with matching tiles. I want to remove the entire border without damage to the wallboard underneath. What is recommended to accomplish this task? Thanks for your help. |

the tile border can be removed but only if you are prepared to put up with a lot of dust! |

Hi CRF

when refering to wallboard /Yank term is this lathe an plaster ?
plaster an underneath wooden strips /wood beams ...???
if yes
You can Go careful to bolster chisel the edging off an fill the plaster voids
if your a novice , have a go a see how you go on , if its TOO much get Pro tiler in to do a *BOSS * Job ...
as DIY IS BRILLIANT ....when looks right ,
when sh*tty .....
remember you got to live with it ... |
