Shower Enclosure
Reply with quote Thanks

I've bought a shower cabin from a company, which comes with a 1 m power cable to transformer 240V to 12V. moulded plastic connections on both primary and secondary. Then to a 2 pin plug - presumably for use in a shaver socket. I was just wondering if this complies with the relevant UK standards.

The units plug has an earth connection on the 2 pin plug head and i'm thinking that this could be a european connection rather than a uk connection.

Should there be a rating plate on the tx and should there be an ip rating detailed on the equipment somewhere?

Thanks for any help.
