If it's 'real' linoleum then it can be repaired, with the degree of invisibility being dependent on the colour and pattern.

if only surface burns you can sand out using very fine sand paper and then seal

it doesn't look clear that there was any outcome to this discussion. Can anyone give guidance on a method or product that can help.

I have a cigarette burn on my kitchen floor that is about 1/2 inch long and pretty deep - any ideas? icon_sad.gif

I expect your floor is vinyl not linoleum so not the same topic as this thread.
