Can anyone advise me of a good heating engineer in London NW3 area who will properly diagnose and cure a problem with my Sealed CH system ?BG seem unable to deal with it under maintenance contract. I think it may involve the PRV or expansion vessel. It just needs an intelligent approach I think. Thanks.

Agile is in north london.

Why not explain your problem here first?

It loses pressure slowly and shuts down. I want the expansion vessel and prv checked. BG have not attempted diagnosis.

Contact Agile from his profile. I'm sure he will do an excellent job, or you would take great pleasure in telling us on here ;)

OK Thanks I will try Agile - not too far from me - You guys are very helpful

If you lose pressure slowly you have a leak so check prv pipe to see if it drips (or put a plastic bag with elastic band loosely over end for a couple of days with htg on).If no leaks there check rad valves especially under plastic top as they leak from spindle. If they are ok look for marks on ceiling from possible leaks above & go under floor to check for leaks.Minor leaks could be rectified with a bottle of leak sealer added to system
