I wish to colour half the tiles in a quarry tiled floor to create a terracotta/black chequerboard pattern. what can I use to colour the plain quarries black? |

if they are not already glazed (shiny) you can use low fire ceramic glaze which you will need to get from a ceramic/art supply-you will also need to ask them about firing them for you once you have put on the glaze |

They're not glazed but they are in situ!

we used quarry tiles as a base for an open fire place but used black lead
polish to change the colour to black hope this is of use |
